Evan Taylor Studio
Professional Editing for Photographers
Professional Editing & Film Matching
No more preset packs that fall short. No more deciding between film and digital. No more Late Nights in Lightroom.
My name is Evan, and I specialize in film matching & editing professional wedding catalogs. I have thousands of hours logged in LR perfecting color grading and tone matching your digital RAWs to film scans. Regardless of your film format, stock of choice, or digital toolkit, you deserve to have a wedding catalog that is consistent with the color palette and tones we all love from film.
Every year I work with a handful of high-end wedding photographers, taking time to understand their workflow, artistic vision, and photographic inspiration. As my client relationships grow, I am always looking for new photographers to work alongside.
Whatever your reasons to consider handing off your wedding catalog to a professional editor, I want to hear from you!

I have a tested system of setting up your LR catalog and RAW files to optimize file transfer through the cloud - that way you and I can pass the LR catalog back and forth with all edits Intact. For new clients I will share video documentation with step by step Instructions, and I am always happy to set up a zoom call to assist you In real time.

There are a few things I charge an hourly rate to Include In my editing workflow.
LR masking and touchups - this Is not always easy to define but here are a few examples: exit signs In the background, a few sensor spots In a blue sky, small distractions on the B&G clothes or face, simple objects In the background. The compounding effect of removing many small distractions always elevates the client's gallery. For example, a standard 1,000 file catalog would require ~2 hrs of this type of work, and I always provide a scope of work and estimate before moving forward.

Photoshop work would fall under two main categories: 1. digital makeup and 2. Intensive additions or removals. This Is work that cannot/should not be performed In LR. Minimizing/eliminating skin blemishes, discolorations, brightening eyes, and accentuating makeup will be done In PS to provide greater control and quality. I've Photoshopped many an Individual In & out of group shots, and the occasional lurking guest from the corner of a frame… I always provide a scope of work and an estimate before moving forward with these edits.
I greatly value face-to-face and spoken conversations, and hopefully this summary helps direct our conversation If you decide to move forward with my services.
